Below you will find some samples of my writing. I plan on posting short stories and excerpts of works in progress. None of these works are considered finished so any constructive comments and criticisms are more than welcome. In fact I am hoping for as much feedback as possible so that I can better shape the stories.

Short Stories
“A Dance in the Woods”
This story won the Grand Prize in the state wide Pen 2 Paper writing contest hosted by the Coalition of Texans with Disabilities. It’s about a young girl with a very active imagination and a troubled relationship with her mother.
“Chapter Play”
“Chapter Play” is a serialized short story that I’m writing for “The Gabriel Writer.” The story is a modern pulp in the vein of the old Chapter Plays or Serial Films of the 40′s and 50′s. The chapters are short and each one ends in a cliffhanger.
“In Service Of”
Stuart Conrad confronts his life in the final few minutes of a plane crash
“The Strutting Peacock”
An aging womanizer finds true love…much to his regret.
“Alone”
A woman finds herself alone, the last person left at the end of the world or, at least, the end of her world.
